10-year-old Cameron, an above knee amputee, enjoyed a climb on POA’s rock climbing/training wall during a recent visit to our office. We love introducing our patients to new things and helping to instill a “no limits” attitude in them!

Ronnie Dickson to represent U.S. at Para-Climbing World Championships next month, 8/21/2012
Ronnie Dickson is a member of the U.S. National Climbing Team which will be competing at the Para-climbing World Championships in France next month (9/12-16/12)! He and another climber are the first para-athletes to compete in this event as part of Team USA!
Patients sharing limb loss stories and supporting each other – Priceless. 8/15/2012
Two of our patients having a chat in our office last week – one an 86 year old man and long-time amputee; the other a 19 year old girl who just recently lost her leg. The difference in their ages was lost as they shared the experiences of their limb loss.

POA’s Josh Olson, a hip disarticulate amputee, is representing Team USA in shooting at the Paralympic Games. Josh is the first ever active duty service member to be nominated to the Team.
