Tammy Duckworth, double leg amputee, sworn into Congress on 1/3/2013
Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, an Iraq war veteran and bi-lateral amputee, was sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives by our own Judge “Jack” Farley, a Vietnam veteran and above-knee amputee. The ceremony was held at the Disabled American Veterans office in Washington on January 3,2013. Duckworth represents Illinois’ 8th congressional district.
