Emily (9) and Summer (8) met for the first time today when they arrived at POA, and it didn’t take long for them to become friends! Both girls were excited to get their new everyday prostheses and sports legs (including Summer’s very first running blade!).
At POA, we believe every kid deserves the opportunity to simply be a kid. That’s why we make prostheses designed to keep kids moving, playing sports, trying new things, and doing all the things kids love to do!
Both Emily and Summer are cancer survivors, but that wasn’t what they wanted to focus on today. They were much too busy having fun, being kids, and making a new friend!
