Tatum was born with a limb difference and Summer lost her leg to cancer in 2025. Both girls are new to our practice and formed a fast friendship when they arrived on Monday.
Yesterday, Tatum tried out her first ever running blade, and Summer took her first independent steps – with the help of her new friend!
This is just another example of the power of POA peer support! We finished the day with a birthday party for Summer, who will be turning eight this weekend! So much to celebrate!
